Oliver Lee OBE

Oliver founded Lunan. He is an internationally renowned leader, fascinated by people, trust, culture and performance.  

 

He has been a chief executive in the commercial, not-for-profit and public sectors. Each organisation faced acute challenges before and during Oliver’s tenure. His approach of moral courage, ethical leadership and placing people first delivered winning cultures and unprecedented outcomes. 

 

For six years, he was Chief Executive of The Challenge, a fast-growing social enterprise competing with the Government outsourcing heavyweights. More recently, he has been Chief Executive of Places Leisure and West Midlands Fire Service.  

  

On graduating from Cambridge, Oliver’s first career was also hallmarked by leadership and people. He joined the Royal Marines, winning the Sword of Honour in training and leaving eighteen years later as the youngest full colonel since World War Two.
